I don't care what the movie critics say. Enemy at the Gates

is a good flick. I like the cast (not their personal lives but their acting). I like the way the movie depicts the ugliness of war. I like the way it presents the lives of the characters.

So to the movie critics who slammed it or demeaned it. Pfffft!!!!

Was that the one with Jude Law? Callmecrazy Jul 2014 #1
nope. Jude Law as the Russian sniper, Ed Harris is the German counterpart. BootinUp Jul 2014 #2

I certainly enjoyed it. I judge a film a lot on if I "believe" the characters. I believed them. BlueJazz Jul 2014 #8

Its about the battle for Stalingrad. Based on stories from a Russian sniper and a book about the battle.

Fairly graphic, and not entirely accurate to history.

What did I read before replying to you. LOL.

Correct.

I also like how it shows the use of propaganda.

Enemy at the Gates was an excellent, powerful movie that I would watch again and again.
