If that fails to raise me, and my magical thumbs from my slumber to open the can, the next step is biting my nose. Ouch!

I'm not sure what it is about our noses that make them such a target of our cat's attention. But it is what it is.

I am severely hearing-impaired, so I can't tell if someone knocks or rings the doorbell. But no matter where I am in the apartment, the kitties are nearby, and they all perk up their ears and hurry to the front door whenever there is someone there.
