How old should a child be to watch the Star Wars prequels?

3. My kids won't know they exist until they turn 18 and go to college.....

then they'll hear everyone talking about these horrible movies that ruined her future favorite movies (The 3 original Star Wars movies of course) and she'll be like, "what movies?? Prequels???"

Then I guess I'll have to sit down and have "the talk" with her.

No sense in ruining their love of Star Wars until then but preferably they should only see them a few days prior to crossing the rainbow bridge. Even then it would be best if their memory were failing at the time in hopes that they wouldn't remember the movies shortly after watching them.

Attentive parents usually know what their kids are and aren't capable of handling.
