Turning back the hands of time to 1900 was no mean feat on The Knick, which premieres Thursday at 10 p.m. on Cinemax. The drama about a struggling New York City hospital was filmed in 70 days in a studio in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and on the streets of the city.

I adored Clive Owne in 'Hemingway and Gellhorn', which was a great movie on HBO (He played Hemingway). So definitely want to check this one out.
