Crinkle Crankle Walls

Crinkle Crankle Walls are an architectural specialty of Suffolk. They are long serpentine walls built by Dutch settlers who called them slange muur, snake walls. The design gives strength and stability to the single brick wall and gives protection to plants, which is why it was used around kitchen gardens.
