Heads up: 'French Kiss' is about to start now on HBO

It's a cute romcom, but the best part is the first 2-1/2 minutes on Meg's character's fear of flying. That scene alone is a real hoot!

1. I think this is such a charming movie

but whenever I make anyone else watch it, they hate it. Don't know why. "It's here, the mucus is here ... here we go. LACTOSE INTOLERANCE!"

2. I got my older brother to watch it, which is really saying something

He's got this stubborn oppositional thing where if anyone tells him to watch a movie or TV show he absolutely refuses to be told what to do.

I recommended this to him because he's deathly afraid of flying. In all of his 70+ years now he's never flown on an airplane. Not even during the 4-1/2 years he spent in the Marine Corps.

But he did at least watch the opening scene and he got a kick out of it.
