For series finales the True Blood finale was good but not great. I won't post anything else for fear of spoilers but hearing Robert Plant singing "Thank You" at the end was amazing!

(95,337 posts)I can't believe it.
It was my summer fun viewing TV and it's gone and I'm sad.
I was watching season #1 again this weekend - Bill, Eric and Pam have all aged pretty obviously so I doubt that they could have kept the show going without explaining why these vamps were aging. Also what was with Eric's accent in season #1, it was amusingly awful but if I recall somewhere around season #2 after he cut the hair he also ditched the bad accent.

Do you think that they are leaving this open ended to resurrect the show Vampire Bill A.D.?

(102,200 posts)I saw one blog that tried to cross reference the credits to see if they could at least figure out who the actor was, but I don't think they were successful. I guess we are not meant to know...
Well, a very uneven final season, IMO, but I guess they wrapped it up as well as possible. Glad to see Eric and Pam come out on top.

(95,337 posts)It wasn't about who Sookie married in the end. It was about Sookie choosing life and accepting her life as a Faery. Bill wanted to die so that Sookie could have it all - family and children, she would have never gotten those things with Bill.
I think if they showed who Sookie married the fans would have been like 'Who is that?'. In the end it never mattered who it was just who Sookie became, which was happy.

(46,698 posts)I think I have to listen to the little Sookie and little Tara conversation better since that seemed to be the turning point in Sookie's thinking. Whatever the grandmother told her seemed to resonate with her.
