i don't feel like going to work today, so i'm not

things are slow and we're overstaffed on supervisors, so i took the liberty of taking the day off. i'd like to believe i'll finish the chores i didn't get to tomorrow, but we'll see if i'm deluding myself.

my job isn't great, but i love that i can take a day off and not worry about it.

Having some autonomy over your job is something that can really benefit your mental health!

Have a great day!

i get first dibs on hours when we slow down, so today is a win-win situation. i win because i don't have to go in and the other supervisors get their hours rather than me knocking one of them off the schedule. plus, i lose my pto if i don't use it and i'm still sitting on 60 hours.

i always sit on about a week's worth until december which, when combined with the paid holidays, gives me a two-week vacation. it's great.
