We dropped my son off at college and since it was a long drive we decided to stay at a nearby farm that was also a bed and breakfast.

They didn't keep them in coops so they spent most of their day huddled under a low tree.

Before we left they all started crossing the road. The rooster was on the other side.

because it saw an opening to claw through the traffic. It needed to go home to Mrs. and children chicken.

I saw nothing in that thread regarding a vehicle used by the chicken-nappers....not even a further mention of the supposedly missing chickens....hell, I'm thinking the whole story might be a hoax, so nothing to get excited over and safe for everyone to go back to bed.
