Z Nation is certainly no Walking Dead, but it's a cross country trek through Zombie filled environs. Last night, they had Amish zombies.
Next week's preview has tornadoes & zombies.
Some of the characters are starting to grow on me a bit, but not that much.

(46,700 posts)I saw the soldier zombies and after that scene with the doc and the obgyn in the elevator shaft, I was left wondering if they plan to develop the idea that zombies retain some of their memories after death. That would make the mercy killings a little more difficult to accept for those who killed their loved ones.

(56,828 posts)you see some zombies with the typical amish clothes and beards, and then one of them goes, "Amish zombies, really?" and the old guy (I think) mentioned how the Amish tried to shut themselves off when it all started.

(46,700 posts)I agree that it is difficult to find someone that is likeable. Everyone is trying too hard to be goofy.

For some reason I was expecting more of the the latter.
While watching Znation (which I like well enough to watch) my appreciation for TWD story and character development grew.

(56,828 posts)was helped by a great cast that was able to pull off the serious, but not too serious, nature of the movie - Woody Harrelson, Jesse Eisenberg, Emma Stone, and of course, BM.

(34,169 posts)Znation cast can't really do as much.
