A terrible philosophical dilemma

Please vote your conscience accordingly.

Is it just wrong to have a TEA biscuit with my COFFEE? I hope not but what do you think?

...it's easier to get forgiveness than permission, I ate the biscuit and drank the coffee. I've been checking in periodically to see if there was some majority opinion regarding the intrinsic right or wrong of doing so. At this point it's 7 for okay and 5 for it being wrong.

Maybe your vote and reasoning would add some spice to the discussion.

you as a barbarian - but then I saw* that picture of tea biscuits you posted and now I think you may be on to something good. And I'm hungry again...

* Note that I originally had no idea what a tea-biscuit is but I was still perfectly willing to cast you out of the social fold. Obviously, if you ever need to gather a mindless mob for a good-old-fashioned torches-and-pitchforks scene, I'm your man...

Tea biscuit: A light baked biscuit infused with raisins generally served with butter to taste.

Coffee: I go with Eight O'Colck brand for the Keurig. One spoon of sugar and I use real heavy cream nothing artificial.

Thanks

...and I resent the "simply" reference. I was alternately working and checking this week's Sunday LOL Cats while consuming my coffee and tea biscuit and the experience was anything but simple.

I hope this clears up the unfortunate misunderstanding between us.
If my apology is not sufficient to pacify your outrage at my terribly rude observation, I shall punish
myself by doing the unthinkable: Eating a coffee biscuit with tea.
