Just had to share

When I sat down at my computer this morning, this email was waiting for me:

Also, I have really learned a tremendous amount about government already this semester. When I signed up for this class I had a very negative outlook, thinking I'll suffer through it to further my degree because it is required. I have actually found most of the information so far very interesting and enjoyed the data in Chapter 6. Please let me make myself clear, I do not intend on gaining any credit by saying the previous comments. I just think it is nice for you to know that your class has actually changed my outlook on government in general.

We need more people that appreciate government and are willing to participate and work to make it better.

Maybe this student won't go that far, but the increase in knowledge is a good thing. You're fighting the good fight, man. Keep it up.

My response to him was "How the hell would you know?"
