Lizzie's character is beginning to emerge. The show was about a phenomenon called the Warrior gene that some people have that can trigger hostile behavior in people, that otherwise seem well adjusted. If you put them in a state of severe stress they are capable of going postal.
In the show, Lizzie had to go under cover and pretend she was a patient in order to take a psych test to get into the main suspect's computer and steal his password. The preliminary answers she provided for the test tapped into her resentment over Tom. In other words, it appeared that she was using a real-life experience and answered the questions honestly. The suggestion is that she's a candidate for the Warrior gene, though that was secondary to the main story line.
The other big news about her character involved her interaction with Red's ex-wife. (Mary Louise-Parker.) She warned Lizzie that Red wanted to use her for something. He manipulates people and it is a game to him. But Red interrupted before she could tell Lizzie more.
My theory about Lizzie: Is it possible that Lizzie was a step-daughter that wanted to have what their daughter, Jennifer had, and in a burst of jealously, set the house on fire which disrupted Red's family? And that she developed amnesia afterwards? Now, Red is using her, slowly waiting for Lizzie to remember so he can play one last cruel joke on her?
Though it has to be more complicated than that, because Lizzie must be the daughter of someone important.
And I assume she has Tom locked up in the room.

(46,684 posts)I confused this comment, ""I kept my end of the bargain, didn't say anything about you or Elizabeth. How much does she know? Are the two of you, what, working together? I don't even want to know how you pulled that off.""
with this comment:
Naomi is ready to leave with her sad consolation prize husband, confessing to Red that she doesn't know where daughter Jennifer is. Red says, "If you need anything, ever," and kisses her forehead sweetly. "We need to tell her," Naomi says cryptically.
