A neighbor who is from Austria just was home visiting relatives, and brought us back a bottle of Wachauaer Marillen Nektar made by the Tastl family in Rohrendorf, Austria.

I have NEVER tasted anything so amazing EVER. If I never have anything else to drink for the rest of my life, I wouldn't care, except that you can't get this stuff anywhere except from the makers. It's a family production. I just wrote to them pleading for them to quote me a price to ship me up a few dozen bottles. I'll pay any price for shipping. If they won't, I may have to plan a trip to Rohrendorf, wherever that is. This stuff is worse than heroin. One sip, and you are hooked.

means "Product shipping via parcel post: Austria 8 euros, Germany 15 euros, other countries upon request" or something like that.

Due to legal and bureaucratic hurdles we do not deliver overseas.

(4,033 posts)is if you have connections in Europe, have it shipped to them, and they in turn ship it to you. I don't know if that's possible due to American regulations, but just a thought.
