The kid who turned me onto Bob Seeger and Kansas and a lot of other good stuff winced when I played Stewart.
" Moooooom, that's garbage..turn it off".

Now that we are a continent apart, I like to send him Stewart you tube links.....

4. He has a huge following. You could tell at the show.

Great band and his backup singers were fantastic.

7. The thing about Rod Stewart.

.... is that he did some great stuff, mostly in the early 70s and then he did some utter pap, mostly in the late 70s.

It's like a sweet dog that poops on your bed. You can't decide whether to love him or put him outside.

8. Some of his stuff in the 80's was not bad.

What WAS bad was his attempt at cross over to crooner, when he did that Cole Porter album.
Pure torture to listen to.
