...picture of Jasmine - This image shows us that Aladdin would have been just as amazing, if not even better, with Jasmine as a Caucasian princess. (Emphasis mine)

WTH??? Why "if not even better"?????????????????????

I mean--Jesus--racist Disney finally gets off their asses and creates a black princess, and this is what this sick site writes:

The Princess And The Frog is an exciting journey about the power of friendship and acceptance, not the color of Princess Tiana’s skin. It’s important for all girls, regardless of race, to feel represented in movies for kids.

Yeah, so let's "paint her white" and that'll make it all better.

UGH!

I think the website "Clickhole" only got the second part of the name right.

I was left with a HUGE ICK after looking at that. It smells racist to me.

THE ONION

Soooo...I looked it up on the web....

ClickHole is a satirical website from The Onion that parodies websites such as Upworthy and BuzzFeed. The clickbait parody site was launched on June 12, 2014.[6][7][8][9] The creation of ClickHole comes in conjunction with The Onion’s decision to stop its print edition, as the journal shifts its focus more towards the internet.[10] According to ClickHole's senior editor, Jermaine Affonso, the website "is The Onion’s response to click-bait content" and serves as "a parody of online media".[1] On a deeper level, ClickHole illustrates the shallow nature of content that is shared on social media as well the desperation of media sites to share such content.[11][1] Since ClickHole mocks sites such as Buzzfeed and Upworthy, which often parody mainstream news, the website can also be regarded as a "parody of a parody".[12]

Thank you for pointing that out to me. I was, well, on the verge between appalled and horrified.

I do appreciate the "parody" aspect--alot of that UPWORTHY shit is indeed shallow shit that I think deserves to be shoved upworthy, if ya know whaddeyemean!!!!

An offshoot of the Onion.

They make fun of the stupid "filler" shit that substitutes for news that you see in places like Upworthy.

They have a subtle hand--that shit could go either way!!!

This Brilliant 11-Year-Old Ballerina Is Living Proof That Children Can Achieve Anything If We Push Them To The Breaking Point

"Still think kids can’t be amazing? Then you better meet Hailey Tillmoore.

"She’s won six international ballet competitions, performed at Carnegie Hall, and toured with the American Ballet Theatre—all before finishing middle school. That’s right: Hailey is just 11 years old, and she’s living proof that children can achieve anything if we push them to the breaking point.

"Despite being half the age of your typical pro ballerina, Hailey dances with the virtuosity of a seasoned dancer. Incredibly, she’s already mastered both classical and contemporary choreography, showing just what kids can do when you force them to spend hours upon hours training to the brink of exhaustion every single day.

"Lucky for Hailey, her mom and dad do exactly that! Ever since Hailey was old enough to walk, Corina and David Tillmoore have obsessively micromanaged her entire life, forced her to take on way more than she can handle, and shielded her from distractions like friends and childhood."

What We’re Really Saying When We Make Fun Of Julia Roberts’ New Arm

"This week, the internet became a firestorm of controversy. No, not over America’s new war in the Middle East or NASA’s historic photos of a comet brushing right up against Mars. It was all about one gracefully aging starlet’s surprising new look.

"We’re talking—reluctantly—about Julia Roberts’ third arm.

"The Pretty Woman and My Best Friend’s Wedding star stunned the blogosphere this week when she posed for photographs outside a charity fundraising event debuting the new (presumably cosmetic) alterations to her number of limbs. Shocking, right?"
