Chadwick Boseman = Black Panther?

If so, this guy is so hot right now.
He just did Jackie Robinson with 42, and then played as James Brown.

Marvel Casts Chadwick Boseman as 'Black Panther'

11:35 AM PDT 10/28/2014 by Graeme McMillan

Chadwick Boseman will be Marvel Studios first solo lead of color, with the news that he will take the title role in the newly-announced Black Panther movie, one of three new series revealed at this morning’s Marvel Studios event at the El Capitan Theater in Los Angeles.

Boseman will play T’Challa, the head of the fictional African nation of Wakanda, in the movie, which is scheduled to be released Nov. 3 2017. In Marvel’s comic book continuity, the Black Panther — created by Stan Lee and Jack Kirby was a long-serving member of the Avengers, who also enjoyed multiple critically-acclaimed solo runs throughout his 48-year history.

Not a bad choice I think.

I always thought Luke Cage/Powerman would be the first African American hero on screen. Seems like a good choice, and I hope it's a smash at the box office.
