Nice! I guess it's no coincidence that the first picture reminds me of a Bob Ross painting. Enthusiast Nov 2014 #10

Sleeping Lady Mountain back in da day. THere wasn't any Campbell Creek estuary, at least by name.

I lived in Moutain View and on Government HIll. Are the Richardson Vista Apartments still around?

Gaud, I even remember the Woolworths on 4th St.

Sleeping Lady (Mt. Susitna) would be off to the right, out of the photo, or kind of behind that hill on the right. When I get onto my real computer, I'll post some pictures for you. This Campbell Creek estuary is the newest Anchorage park, and it's really nice, a good place to watch for wildlife and birds in the summer because no dogs are allowed. It's south of Kincaid Park and Dimond Blvd. on the west side of town.

Richardson Vista Apts. are still there, although they're called North Pointe now. I haven't been over there in decades. My ex-husband used to have some rather unsavory friends who lived there, and I kind of avoid the area just because of the bad memories. You would be surprised at Mountain View now. They've built a couple of really big shopping complexes over there and people have been making an effort to clean up the neighborhood. It has attracted quite a large immigrant population and was recently determined to be one of the most diverse neighborhoods in the US.

And, yes, I remember the Woolworth's, too.

I think some outer bands from the storm. Actually, it's warmer than it's been and we're not expected to have much trouble here in Anchorage from the storm, just a little rain and some wind. The effects in the Lower 48 are predicted to be much worse because of the dreaded Polar Vortex.
