The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsIt's official - to me this is the best fucking album of the year!!!!
There have been some good selections out this year but I am so in love with this album from Damien Rice and that's saying alot because his debut album 'O' was so off the charts amazing that I didn't think the guy could ever top that. I have been listening to this album non-stop and so in love with it already that it's bumped my last choice for best album, Robert Plant who put out a pretty good album with 'Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar'.
Damien Rice is so fricking soulful and his voice is so hauntingly amazing I could listen to him sing forever. And I've seen him in concert, I could listen to the man talk all the time, he's got one of those amazing Irish accents. Last concert he talked about his dog taking a shit and it was the sexiest thing I ever heard. That's a good Irish accent.
Here is my new favorite song!! It's like shot to my top 10 of all time favorite songs which is a pretty powerful list of songs!

(95,337 posts)His last 2 before that were good but I was getting bored with the country stuff and the remakes.
This one got me all excited. Sure I think there was 1-2 remakes in there but he had some great new stuff. That was my favorite album until Damian Rice came along.
