Thank you for the thoughtful reply's. Well done to those of you joining the #soon.

A truly wonderful woman who has stuck by me through the thick and thin of life.

She stood by me while I served in the Navy for 20 years. We figured the first 20 years we were
only together for 8 of them due to my deployments, training etc.

When she said forever she really meant it.

6. Planned on taking her out

for some fine dining, ended up in the ER this morning due some pain in the chest stuff. Now it's sit and watch some old movies, rest.
and wait for the walking dead.

I'll make it up to her in the coming weeks. As I said, she's a great wife and just happy to have me home after all those years away and lay on the couch together.

9. Yep, walking dead

she's a walking dead fan. We're not big on the love story type movies or shows. Give us comedy, syfi, action etc. Since this makes her happy well then I'm all for it. A few of the meds will probably have me knocked out by then also.

for the best wishes. I've been here since 02 but don't post much, especially personnel stuff. I spend about 3 to 4 hours a day just reading, but today I did want to let my DU family share in a major milestone of my life.
