Why are some "KARDASHIAN-JENNER" crap presenting awards at *any* place (AMA)?!1

The t.v. is on all day, but as background noise. And mostly it's on news and talk shows. Something like the AMA is not being watched, just passing through en route to picking something to leave on, and momentarily there were those people and it brought to mind the does-not-compute thought about what talent or connection to music would qualify these particular people to bestow awards to others who MIGHT be talented and connected to music, especially since presenting an award carries a hint of the presenter being some kind of authority.

The challenge is to "keep up" with that posterior and everyone associated with it--for reasons which escape me, still!

The answer is because the whole thing is a rigged and bogus event to create publicity and sell records and make record executives lots of money.

That or it has a really good beat and I can dance to it.

The AMAs are the joke awards that make the Grammies seem like the Nobel Prize.
