I know it's a Tuesday night, but is anybody having a beer/cocktail/glass of wine right now?

I only ask because I happen to be sipping on a Pyramid Oktoberfest lager - not bad, not amazing, but a decent (6.7%) ABV.

2. Not right at this minute, but an hour ago I enjoyed a Deschutes Chainbreaker White IPA.

Like your Pyramid, not bad, not amazing, but a decent (5.6%). I usually drink Lagunitas IPA, but thought the white IPA might be a bit lighter on the hoppy flavor and it was. Probably a better summertime brew.

3. Chainbreaker (like all Deschutes beers) is nice. I've been to their brewpub in Bend, good food.

4. I went to a friend's house for about 8 hours tonight.

I had some beers and a little SoCo and nog with two of my good friends, and met two new people. It was fun, but the hostess kept hitting me. I hope you had a fun night.

My night was okay, pretty uneventful. I watched a pretty good, trippy horror flick called "Mr. Jones" and listened to some black metal.

No, she was actually hitting me. Several times in the face, a few body shots, and then she hit me with a stick right before I left. It's just her way of being friendly. She only seems to hit people she really likes or really hates. I like weirdoes.

7. I had a nice California mourvedre myself tonight, with dinner.

Which, if you didn't know, is a red variety that tastes sort of in-between a pinot noir and a cabernet.

11. Good brewery, yeah. I also had an excellent Kobe beef cheeseburger at their brewpub a couple months

ago. If any burger is worth $13 then that one definitely is.

And of course the one time I'm actually in the area I was with other people and we didn't have time to stop. Oh well.
