Posting from a cafe in Rome, so no YouTube links. Don't think I can watch live... Coda means the end of a musical piece. Beth is the group singer. Does she meet her demise?

I did a quick check and didn't see YouTube vids, but the network should have links to its promos for the episode.

I'm just disappointed that I found out I needed a special adapter to watch DISH network overseas.

(47,209 posts)rumors are, Beth bites the dust- in a very bad way.
No one finds Beth as a walker, The Spoiling Dead Fans said of the events in The Walking Dead mid-season 5 finale. There is a standoff of sorts. Beth has the choice to leave and has a moment of gumption (or weakness, depending on how you look at it) that leads to her demise. Beth ends up believing that the choice she makes is a necessity in the end. But Beth doesn't envision things ending the way they do. Beth's death will be a harrowing moment not only for Beth, but for Daryl, Carol and the others as well.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)Just coming in to her own, and then dying.
bettyellen
(47,209 posts)she has not been seen on the set for the last few months. So either she gets separated again and will be in yet another flash back later? or she is gone. Maybe they are clearing the way for some Darryl and Carol action without having to hear fan boys wanted it to be Beth?
BTW- I joined that forum just to get in spoilers for us, and the only clip they posted had a bad link already.
Hope you're having an amazing time in Italy!

However, it did remove Dawn from the picture, allowing everyone to part ways in a form of truce. So, I suppose you could call it an effective sacrifice.

What a shame, Beth had tons of potential as a leading character, and after her bonding with Daryl last season, I had hoped we'd see it. Edit to add: Beth with facial scars would have been cool too.

(22,772 posts)Morgan returns...
Yes! This is the second such clip. The first, at least that I'm aware of, was when they all escaped from Terminus. He came along and saw Rick's "No" added to the sign that says Sanctuary. seems to come along just after epic disasters.

(5,604 posts)Now I wonder if Morgan thinks that Rick is heading to Washington. I think they're just screwing with us fans.

(1,893 posts)Fans deserve some Morgan just as soon as the series returns from break, especially after kicking us in the teeth with Beth's death!
I loved Morgan in the first season and that actor who plays him is amazing. I just hope he's going to stick around for awhile.

(1,893 posts)Watching Emily Kinney crying on Talking Dead didn't help either.
Here's a sweet tribute to Beth someone put together:
She really did an amazing job with the role and managed to convey an authentic innocence and fragility that played off well against the harder characters. Really wishing they hadn't killed her off but... oh well. *sniff*
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)Just watched it as well - even though I knew it was coming, I still got misty eyed when I saw Emily Kinney on Talking Dead as well.
NewJeffCT
(56,828 posts)Liked the show, but didn't love it. The episode really started with a bang, and then ended with one. In between, it had some interesting moments, but wasn't great, IMO. Liked the escape from the church and the scene with Father Gabriel, but I hope he can do something to redeem himself. Glad we finally got to see some emotion from Maggie over Beth.
Shocking death of Beth, at least the way she went out. So many mistakes - if Sasha hadn't gotten duped by Lamson - if Rick hadn't run the guy down & killed him, they'd have had a 3rd hostage to trade - if they had gone with Rick's plan instead of Tyreese's - if Beth hadn't volunteered to go back, etc.
I wonder how Morgan will end up meeting the group?
