My cat is home from the vet.

Previous Post: http://www.democraticunderground.com/1018698510

I'm a little concerned that she hasn't eaten anything all day, but otherwise she seems her normal self. I Know she had some heavy doses of meds via injection prior to discharge, so she may not get an appetite till tonight. I'll keep monitoring. She's been MEGA-cuddly and I'm happy to hold her in my arms.

I've had to move a bottle of hand soap to the kitchen sink because sometimes she's just too cute to boot from the sink.

...until I decided to give her a flea bath! I gave her baths about every three months to give her that clean cat smell.

Cute girl. Hope the two of you enjoy some long snuggles. My cat is warm on my lap, snoozing contentedly.

Lots of hugs and happy thots for all to be well.

I'm guessing that your vet will follow up and you can tell them if she still has eating issues. My vet's office always calls the day after my dog has an appointment, just to see how he is, no matter what he was there for. My doctor never does that, LOL.

So glad to hear she's on the mend, and love the pic! Thanks for keeping us updated.

We've had some luck priming the appetite pump with tuna water, tuna, or baby food (beef, turkey, chicken). Good luck.

I'm discussing with the vet other options. She eats the dry food, but as for the canned - She just will NOT eat that food.

I'm willing to bet that it's the meds affecting her appetite...that is very common...she'll get it back soon.
