My car conked out in Ontario once on the way back to Boston for school. Small town. People actually sounded EXACTLY like the McKenzie Bros.

"Need a tow, dere, eh." Not a question. A statement.
They got my car back up and running by the next day. Went into a little diner. "Gravy with yer fries, eh?"
It was hard not to laugh.
The first year I was in law school some guy from Virginia asked me what part of Canada I was from. "Da part that's dere in Minnuh-soda, eh?" was my response. Goddamn Princeton guys.
