(1,858 posts)A lot is opinion pop-culture stuff with jokes that some may find a little juvenile. They also post some more serious articles that are fairy accurate and critical of corporations and the wealthy. Just this morning I saw an article that criticized Target for a bullshit anti-Union video the made employees watch and mentioned some dirty practices of Coca-Cola, although they left out the murders. Some are personal interest stories. I remember seeing one Reader's Diget picked up and published not too long ago. I think some of the jokes in the articles won't fly of someone posted it on this site, but overall they are fine. It's certainly more reliable than FOX and tabloid like sites that pretend to report true stories.

I find the articles to usually be 80%-90% accurate. As for potential response to a Cracked piece on DU, it depends on the article I guess. I've never seen a Cracked piece garner a hide.
