My local friends band that is getting huge raves and is expanding into a national consciousness right now...(Along with Joe craven who played with David Grisman, Jerry Garcia and many others and is one of the more talented guys out there)

Homer for years was Willie Nelson's blues harpist. He has played with a lot of people over the years. He plays like I do, the melody over big solos, and that is rare.

Great band that does a lot of different things.

from a full on rock thing to Celtic acoustic and folk. Saw them play in a grove by the American river last year and they killed me . super nice guys too.

Williams, Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings) (Who this guy is compared to every time someone writes about him, I personally think he sounds like a young Hank Jr more than anything)
