Florida man was arrested this past weekend for allegedly impersonating a law-enforcement officer ... He allegedly tried to pull over an SUV on Palm Beach Boulevard -- and the SUV had a pair of actual detectives in it.

Florida man ... was arrested after members of the Durant Police Department responded to a vehicle fire. The car was found empty but on fire and two cemetery tombstones had been destroyed. Officers tracked down the owner, who said she had not given anyone permission to drive the vehicle.

Florida man, indicted in 2013 for bank fraud related to a $1.5 million loan from Little Rock's One Bank & Trust, has pleaded guilty to money laundering in federal court.
