They can not find my tax info for last year. or ever!!! the state of Arizona says I an real, Credit Karma can find the info, I have ( And I really don't know how they have survived everything in that old beat up folder) my tax records to prove it. But now they are being crazy, absolutely nuts!! I am having to take a day off from work for something that was (I though) put to rest last month!!! Hey DU!!! Same old same old for me!!! How are you!!!

Oh PS, cuz you asked about taxes.
I had hecka medical expenses but they didn't offset a small income from the parents' estate so I wrote checks for almost 7 grand. Estate tax is very high.
Miss my parents, would rather have them than the estate any day.

(11,833 posts)I hope you can get it straightened out. I use TaxAct online, and have them save my records. I think I pay 7 bucks for that service. I also print out each year's return & stick them in a manilla folder just so I have them around.

I knew a guy once, he's passed on now, who never got a driver's license or a social security number. He got a bank account early on in life before banks used to ask for stuff like that, and, for all I know, lived under the radar of the state for his whole life.
