Anybody else getting numerous calls from this number? I started getting calls, sometimes 2 or 3 a day from this number several weeks ago. I don't answer in that it's not a number I recognise. I did an internets search which came up as a spam, most who have answered say no-one is on the other end and they don't leave a message.

I'm too lazy tonight to look it up.

(38,506 posts)Tap the little letter I next to the phone number. A screen will come up. You should see "block this caller" as one of the phrases. Choose that and it should be done.

(11,833 posts)Since 800notes is user driven, check back there in a few days and there should be more comments. Maybe someone will ask who the number is, or find out and post it.
Also, if it's driving you nuts you may want to call your service provider and ask them to trace or block the number. Or maybe google your type of phone and see it there's a way to block or trace calls from it.

Hiding your identity, refusing to identify yourself when asked. All that spells UNETHICAL debt collector to me. Might also be one of the many student loan reduce your debt SCAMS going around. Well, at least you know what type of call it is, if not exactly who is calling."
