(12,132 posts)It was a surprise like at our house. Heard nothing about it until the first day it was on and our daughter said "Let's see if this is any good" - (She likes the Mayhem guy too lol.) so we watched and it was immediately promoted to "Record: Series" on our DVR.

Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13, 1989) is an American singer-songwriter. Raised in Wyomissing, Pennsylvania, Swift moved to Nashville, Tennessee, at the age of 14 to pursue a career in country music. She signed with the independent label Big Machine Records and became the youngest songwriter ever hired by the Sony/ATV Music publishing house. The release of Swift's self-titled debut album in 2006 established her as a country music star. Her third single, "Our Song," made her the youngest person to single-handedly write and perform a number-one song on the Hot Country Songs chart. She received a Best New Artist nomination at the 2008 Grammy Awards.

Frank Cannon
(7,570 posts)So what if she's thin and super tall (5'11" . Her music's not bad, she writes most of her own material, and she seems to be a fairly nice person, overall.
Unlike that little shit Justin Bieber, who, in the spirit of global friendship and cooperation, should be given a trip to the ISS just so they can space him out the airlock door.

(95,337 posts)and the fact that there are people who think they are somehow 'Christian' leaders is frightening. Maybe these Duggars and Duckers should actually read the Gospel and learn about how Jesus treated everyone with love, acceptance and respect - not this Hate that I hear spewed.
But what annoys me is how the gossip magazine gives cover stories when these folks pop another offspring or get married. Why should we reward people who preach hate and discrimination. If that's how they want to live - fine by me. But we shouldn't reward them as heroes, they are cowards and should fade into obscurity!
