NOORY doesn't acknowledge Art BELL in the sign-off anymore

I've left the radio on all night for years while mostly sleeping, wouldn't qualify as a fan but liked Art BELL then really disliked NOORY for hosting Jerome CORSI a lot. Only heard BELL in the later period of multiple retirements. I remember when NOORY was named as permanent replacement and he was ecstatic and decreed that he would remain in that role forever (whether we liked it or not).

In the past couple of years the radio is still on but haven't heard much of NOORY, what there has been has been unlistenable. But throughout in the signoff when NOORY lists about ten people to thank, BELL was always acknowledged at the end. A couple of weeks ago and verified last night, BELL's name was omitted. I haven't kept up, but the Wiki entries say this is not news.

Art Bell stated that the decision to come out of retirement was his to start Dark Matter Radio Network, and was a response to Noory having "ruined" the Coast to Coast franchise by taking it in a political talk radio direction, with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones as a regular guest. Bell wanted to see a return to the open-minded exploration of the supernatural that had defined his own earlier tenure.[12] Noory responded with a show in September 2013, which had as a guest David John Oates. Oates had earlier been banned by Art Bell from Coast to Coast.

Bell is a member of the U.S. Libertarian Party.[citation needed] Originally, Coast to Coast AM was a conservative political talk show, but in recent years Bell has expressed both conservative and liberal views on the air. On air, Bell has shown support for immigration reform and decriminalizing marijuana. He has also criticized humankind's role in facilitating the onset of global warming. Bell has also stated that he opposes abortion, believes the U.S. should finish the job in the war in Iraq and supports a free market economy.[citation needed]

Bell supported Barack Obama for President of the United States in both the 2008[16] and 2012 elections. ....

... he also took several callers to task for seemingly veiling their obvious political agendas or wishes in the form of predictions, rather than offering up something from their "psychic center," .....

On November 1, 2012, Bell updated his Facebook status with the following: "I wish my name was no longer associated with what Coast has become!" .....

is still planning on returning in July. I hadn't noticed that GN stopped mentioning Art. Maybe that is due to plans by Art for his returning show?

Besides that I'm sure NOORY has been told lots of times that he doesn't match up, is no Art BELL. He's got RESENTMENT going for himself.

it says on Art's website he's planning to return to the airwaves in July 2015 when his non-compete agreement expires with Sirius/XM. I sure hope that is still true.
