Because the response has been the opposite of flame-warring. Hell, I've got more than double of the recs as this one!

for having the audacity of supposing fog and/or water vapor collectors could be implemented by the Navajo Nation. Got a real tongue-lashing for not understanding one person's take on why "IT! CAN'T!! WORK!!!"

But then again, we'd do anything to get some out here in CA! I've heard of really creative ways to collect and save and store water that a guy named Jack Rose was into. He'd be over in Africa all the time, building different water collecting projects and systems on the roofs of huts in the villages. I'd say what the hell? Couldn't hurt to try, at least. Besides, if it's well-researched and meticulously implemented, and makes sense, how do you know it can't work?

Btw - I LOVE LOVE LOVE your sig line! With an Engledink Humperbert on the side!

And he's the kind of guy that would be over in Africa helping Mr. Rose, too

I'm still thinking of contacting the Navajo Nation anyway and seeing if they're aware of these various means of tapping into atmospheric water. I'd think they would be, just better to see anyway.

And now, I'm going to get my shoes on and go shopping for tomorrow's US Postal Service Letter Carriers' Food Drive

By definition, we can't all be exceptional, or even above average, so the whole project is doomed to failure by Kant's categorical imperative.

You may now return to your usual grumpy cynicism, knowing that logic mandates it.

Fortunately he's not my Supervisor. He has his staff fill out a questionnaire in which they tell him what they "learned today" that will help them in their work.

Yuk!
