And if there's one thing even a Democrat should NOT do liberally, it's drink hard liquor.

Cutting down on addictive drugs, especially legal ones like nicotine and alcohol isn't easy, and I have had acquaintances willing die rather than give up one or the other (or both).

When I had my cardiac near-miss, and was told to give up red meat, eggs, ice cream and cheese, I thought the world had come to an end. But I did it. That was 11 years ago, and the world hasn't ended yet.

(Now watch me get run over by a truck tomorrow)

my main problem is stress. How do I achieve what I apparently need to at work and still have a normal life?

Don't fret things that you have no control over.

Try to find some time to do things you enjoy.

Eat healthy, exercise, laugh. That's all I got.
