The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsDo you really care about Tom Brady's deflated balls?
Could not believe it yesterday. Radio news, cable news, even local news all atwitter about Tom Brady and his deflated balls.
So this must be a really, really important story for Americans of all stripe. Have our media covered it just enough, too much or too little?
This is the kind of question that is right in the Lounge's zone!

(72,790 posts)You asked who Tom Brady was, even though I am pretty sure you already knew who he was. #BradyWinsAgain

(18,479 posts)I have heard about the deflation conflagration.
I have heard the name in the news. (TV in the airport the other day located strategically above my head so as to maximize audio volume while entirely precluding any visibility of the screen.)
The name Brady is somewhat common and I think I know of a politician named Brady and of course Jim's wife, who recently passed (RIP), but reading the OP I did actually have evidence that Tom Brady was the one who was taking the heat for deflation issue in focus before the nation.
Judging by the photos in thread here I infer that he's a player rather than a coach or other team employee or whatever but it's been years since I watched a football game and I was looking a distraction.
Winning at any price; that's the American way.
