Game of Thrones 5.6 "Unbowed, Unbent, Unbroken" (spoiler alert)

Arya trains. Jorah and Tyrion run into slavers. Trystane and Myrcella make plans. Jaime and Bronn reach their destination. The Sand Snakes attack.

Yay - the Queen of Thorns returns!

But, it's obvious that Reek, or Theon, is going to have an opportunity to redeem himself.

though, it's a scene from the books that was toned down for HBO, and using a minor character instead of a major one (Jeyne Poole, who was Sansa's handmaid in the books and was posing as Arya Stark...) In the book, Theon participates and it's even more disturbing.

I also hope Sansa gets a chance to get some revenge - maybe if she escapes, she can take out Myranda, Walda, Roose or Ramsay before she goes?

Sansa's misery creates the reason that the people organize and rebel against the Boltons.

If she does have her revenge, it will come in the heat of battle.

that episode 10 is going to 'break the internet' - but, that could just be an actor hyping the show.

Arya becoming someone else

Tyrion & Jorah getting captured by slavers.

Jamie & Bronn attempting to get Myrcella, then the fight with the Sand Snakes - and, then all of them get captured by Areo Hotah and his men.

And, of course, the "grand jury" inquest of Ser Loras, and then Queen Margaery getting thrown into it as well. (How soon does the Queen of Thorns play the Cersei slept with Jame and Lancel card?)

and, the climax with Sansa marrying Ramsay Snow. Nice job by Sansa standing up to Myranda, but I almost felt sorry for Reek/Theon at the end being forced to watch.

It's obvious to us that Daenyrs is the younger woman that the fortune teller saw displacing Cersei, so it will be interesting if it's curtains for Queen Margaery--though, doesn't Margaery have a connection with the public?

I don't think. Some thing it's Daenerys, some think it's Margaery, some also think it could be Sansa. Not to mention - Brienne's nickname is the sarcastic Brienne "The Beauty" - it could even be her.

If I were a non-book reader, I'd also realize that Cersei was in a dangerous spot - Tyrion knows all about her and Lancel, and more than a few know about her and Jamie. If Lancel is at an Inquest like Loras, do you think he'd lie to cover for Cersei, or confess?

she's in the middle of a thousand or more Boltons, so she's forced into it.

I haven't read that far into the series, but I'm really hoping Olenna Tyrell bests Cersei.

that somehow, the High Sparrow will find out about Cersei and Jamie and/or Lancel. Maybe through Littlefinger? And, of course, if Lancel testifies against Cersei, his word will not be doubted at all.

(In the books, Loras is never jailed and Margaery is accused of fornication, not covering up for her brother. Tommen is 8 or 9 when he marries Margaery, so it was fornicating with men that were not her husband.)

or if there's witness to his affair with Cersei.

Thanks for your input--and for letting me know what happened in the book

Tyrion got him to confess his affair with Cersei and later had him provide info about Cersei to him. Of course, Tyrion is half a world away right now.
