Since it was only on for 2 seasons. Then you can watch the movie. It was pretty good.

9. The first season was great.

The second was a dog's breakfast. That is, if you're mean to your dog.

Up to the 'Missoula Montana' bit. After that, it got silly up until the end. Final episode was cool.

11. You could remove every subplot involving James and lose nothing

His limp-noodle screen presence makes it impossible for me to binge watch Peaks anymore.

Raymond's Civil War delusion is almost unwatchable, too.


When Peaks was good, it was very, very good. But when it was bad...

12. Yeah, that Civil War bit puts me off.

Overall, I didn't think the story was well developed, in that it seemed to have more potential for interesting resolution than what finally came out. But it had some nice quirks to it.
