Two of my nieces were pregnant this year. One gave birth in July, on MY birthday

to her first son, Gabriel.

and now the other has given birth, today to her second daughter, Emma, on mine and my wife's 30th wedding anniversary.

Won't be able to get out of remembering these two birthdays for the rest of our lives. As for the one born today, yesterday was her mother's (my niece's) birthday so it almost really piled on.

So screw all you doomsayers and spreaders of doubt and gloom.

Life continues.

Get to meet the great nephew next month when his grandmother brings him and her daughter for a few weeks in Mauritius. Probably be a year or more before we meet the great niece.
