I had originally wanted to send it to Ahmed's classmates so they could play it on their phones, but I don't know how to get this info to them

Doesn't matter, anyway. They're all bringing physical clocks to school now

One of my favorites for years has been rainstorms.
I used to listen to a tape of it at work, when it was so hot in the summer, and actually felt cooler.

thank you...this is a cool site!!!

because it is such a cool site! So, I'm happy to share with people that can appreciate this kind of thing. And may you always feel cooler during these rainstorm sounds

I do recommend donating (even if it's just a few dollars) so you can unlock some of the other sections of it, such as the "Magic Generators." Those are pages where the sliders keep a major theme, such as rain, but change to different noises every time you open the page. It's a rather cool effect and great for relaxation.

Also, one thing he he talks about on the site is how noise can mask out similar sounds, such as annoying stuff going on outside. Recently, the apartments next door were re-doing their parking lot, so plenty of obnoxious machinery noise and jackhammering. Well, one of the pages on MyNoise is of demolition. I put that on, and after a few minutes the noise outside was masked and nowhere near as annoying as it had been. Dr. Stéphane Pigeon knows his stuff on sound engineering and therapy
