The way I experienced it: Hot, dry and dusty or Cold, dry and dusty.

NH: Live, freeze and die, Mud, Hot and humid, 6 weeks of glorious.

Especially here in the Seattle area! The weather is fantastic, the skies are blue and clean after the weekend's rain and the colours are just beginning the turn. Love it!

That said, Spring's usually pretty nice here too.

Down here in the SF Bay Area it can be pretty nice, too. Now if we could only eradicate those terrible
fires...

And yes, Autumn is the best time of year!!
