I broke my right 5th (little) toe Wednesday.

I was gathering up some empty bottles for the recycle bin and dropped one jussst right on my bare foot. Since the fracture is at the very tip of the little toe, nothing to be done but 'buddy tape' little toe to the next toe for support. I wear slippers in my house when it's cold, and sandals outside as long as possible, I'll justify wearing my red crocks for the next few weeks. hello fashion police.

That's happen to a few times so I know that it can be more painful than people think.

Last year I jammed the big toe on my right foot and it was so swollen and discolored that it looked like a plump mini hot dog. It left me limping for a couple months and the toe stayed discolored for about three months. It took about a year for the toe nail to grow out normally again.

Enjoy the crocks!
