I missed a lot of tv series' over the last 20 years ( worked nights)
so now I do a bedtime watch of Law and Order, watch a couple episodes,then off to bed.
apparently that is a LONG running series...

At other times West Wing is soothing, but ti does tend to be depressing when compared to what the real WH is doing.

Which I re-watch all the way through at least twice a year on DVD.

It was comfort TV during the GWB years. Nowadays, I watch episodes that are outdated simply because the liberal initiatives that failed under Bartlet (gays in the military, marriage equality, etc.) are now a reality under President Obama.

-- those books are truly some of the best comedy writing I've ever read.

Interesting side note: The voice of Witch Hazel, June Foray - Ms. Foray is apparently alive and well and living in CA at the age of 98.

A truly great voice actress. One of the reasons why Bullwinkle is one of my all-time favorites
