You didn't ask for my thoughts, you asked for my words which I gave you. Of course I have many things to say. Whether I say them or not is largely incidental and unlikely to occur here for two reasons:

1.) The Lounge is not the right place for me to pontificate on all the ways I hate Hillary and reasons why--which is seemingly what you're asking me to do. There is an entire forum for that called GD ; if you want to know how and why, go read it there. I have great delight in telling Clinton supporters my opinion of their candidate and them...there is a time and place for that and neither is here and now.

2.) You seem like kind of a jerk. I'm not entirely sure that you are worth the conversational effort.

No, you got me all wrong, probably since I was not talking to you. I posted a (admittedly lame) joke. Someone who either lacked reading comprehension skills or a sense of humor tried to lecture me on what the OP said. They took offense when I pointed out that they didn't get the joke. I suggested posts that might appeal to their (lack of a) sense of humor.

And then you decided to stop in and offer your hate (your words).

No, I really don't care who you support, but I would prefer if you actually supported your choice, rather than just hated on another candidate.

I know you don't care, but I like all the front runners. Just can't stand the assholes who have nothing to offer but hate, I can't tell them apart from the Republicans, they just keep repeating the same things, over and over.

While you're at it, you could explain that "Sexi Firmum Iulium" is what the Romans called the place, that the phrase is Latin, and that it has nothing to do with the English word "sexy". Any snickers are therefore unwarranted. Let any prospective censors chew on that.

One question: why "Iulium"? Did the ancestors of Julius Caesar have something to do with the place?

The story that it was named after the inhabitants' favourite pastimes of Sex, Beer, and Rum is apparently apocryphal.
