American Horror Story - Season 4 - Can't find another thread. Thoughts?

My thoughts are it threw a large number of story lines into the first episode.

And also, that much of it was about as close as they could get to snuff porn on basic cable.

I haven't seen it yet, have it DVD'd so will be watching today sometime...... loved the circus themed one. Kathy Bates was great in it.

Weird, a bit shocking, not sure about it yet.

Season 1 is still the best. I have a soft spot for Season 4 though based solely on Kathy Bates' Baltimore accent.

Cool soundtrack though.

It's like with this first episode they tried a little too hard for the shock factor and it overshadowed any story there.
