I didn't get the best four in the theater (me, my wife, my daughter, her boyfriend), but I did get the four to the immediately to the right of the best front-and-center seats. I'll try and do better when Galaxy Luxury seats go on sale (they were all supposed to go on sale at 7 Pacific) and return the Regal, but either way, I'm a happy camper.
Anyone else trying to get tickets? Or watching this contest of footballers ("Predatory Avians versus Tall People, IIRC) in order to see the new trailer?

(13,081 posts)One is at 7:30, IMAX, but less than perfect seats (both quality and position). Also not "true" IMAX. Damn close to perfect seats, though.
The other is 3D and ATMOS sound, and the same position seats. They're leather recliners and equally positioned, but at a later time (10::30 and I wake up at 4 for work, lol).
I might sell the first set on Craigslist, which is wrong to treat a fellow fan, but might pay entirely for the second set. It's either that or return them and let Fate have her go...

(13,081 posts)My uncle brought home both a VCR -- a completely new concept -- and a bootleg copy of Star Wars. This would have been '78 or '79. I have watched the first movie (both episodes 4 and 1, due to differing circumstances) literally thousands of times.
