The DU Lounge

What's the Lounge's take? Two theaters in Mumbai will be doing a midnight screening of Episode VII on opening night. One is the Eros, a 1930's art deco movie house with all the original seating (but updated projectors and sound). The other is the PVR, which is basically a modern cineplex that's essentially indistinguishable from the ones in the US, but has air conditioning. Eros has waiters who bring samosas and fruit juice to you, but no air conditioning.
The other downside is that Eros will not be taking reservations: I'll have to go stand in line at Churchgate at about 5pm probably to wait to buy a ticket at the box office. Still, something about classic theaters...
I guess my big question is, can an older cinema hall really do justice to a modern sci fi movie, just on a visual and audio effects level?

Eros sits 1200 (it was the biggest cinema house in the world when it opened, though it's rather quaint now), so that's going to be a lot of people.
