Watch A Shark Feeding Frenzy Right On The Beach
A school of sharks was caught chasing prey into the surf on a North Carolina beach last week.
Several species of shark can be clearly seen literally on the sand.

(12,153 posts)Amazing! After watching this, I now know for sure sharks don't always stay in deep water. :-O

(56,828 posts)maybe not right at the shoreline, but I remember taking a helicopter ride along the west coast of Florida years back and you can see a lot of sharks surprisingly close to the shore. It's definitely not close enough where anybody could casually swim out there - unless you're a marathon swimmer.

Yesterday I noticed from the deck of the house where we're staying a lot of birds dive bombing the surf line
right in front of the house. That usually means a school of fish swarming.
My husband likes to body surf...but the ocean has been flat...I don't know if he'll go in while we're here!
