My dog is an idiot.

I just gave her a new squeaky ball today, and the first thing she did was push it under the sofa. It was too far back for her to reach it, so she had to bark at me to get it for her.

Now she's diligently tearing off the cover.

She pushes balls under the sofa and barks until I get it for her...She trained me to fetch and I've become quite good at it....Balls are now banned from my house but it took me about 13 years to figure that out....

The two would be a match made in heaven. Send me your address and I'll make sure he gets to you in a few weeks.

It's because she loves you that she wants you to be well trained. That's what I tell myself anyway.

He loved squeaky toys.
But the first thing he'd do is eat the squeaky thing out of the butthole of the toy.
No more squeaky and no more interest in the toy.
Go figure.
Maybe he just wanted to kill the damned thing?

Our little dog did the same thing but with smaller toys. She pulled the eyes and nose out the cat's mouse. The cat has a million mice. He even had a live one once in the basement.

He doesn't like obedience training. A lesson was finally over today and he went to his bed which is his safe place. We told him he could go bye-bye and he jumped up, excited. As soon as Hubby used the "Here" command, he got mopey and went back to his bed.

He can be surprisingly smart about some things, though. He's great at counter-surfing for food.
