Toilet Paper - Over or Under?

Just curious. Are you an over or under person and why?

FYI, I am an under person as I think it is more aesthetically pleasing, other than that not really sure why.

sometimes they are mounted in such a way that it actually does make a difference which way you put the TP on the holder. But, all things being equal, over the top.

I have 4 cats and I still put the TP roll over. My cats are older (the youngest is going to be 8 next month) and have outgrown the kitten/young cat phase of destroying everything they see.

With the roll over, I can get at the paper without fumbling for the end of the roll, which is too hard for me to get at if it's under.

we did under at the farm house because spiders.
we do over here at the new rented apartment because I can't twist well to reach the holder.... over helps.
we used to have cats long time ago in a life far far away. first time we ended up with a floor full of tp we switched to over. Problem solved.

Aesthetics, a hotel we stayed at once did it best. Maid put in on over and tucked the corners under so it made a point. Made it really easy to grab and looked like someone bothered.

I feel very strongly about this.

It's such a pain to try to find the end when it's under; either it sticks to the roll or it rubs against the wall as the roll unfurls. I'm not a clean freak by any means, but over just seems so much tidier.

Then I had to be an over person as part of my job (I had to decorate the 'over' part as well, lol) and it just became habit. Then I had kids, and well, when you have a colicky newborn and have to pee holding a screaming baby, you learn quickly that it is MUCH easier to tear away the TP with one hand if it is OVER. So I'm a definite convert to over.
