Jon Meachams' newest book, anyone else reading it?

Destiny & Power The American Odyssey of George Herbert Walker Bush

130 pages into it, and to me, it's a puff piece so far. The book starts with a family tree history, then gets specific about Bush 41. While I knew he'd been shot down by heavy Japanese installations on ChiChijima island, I learned that one of his crewmen bailed out but the shoot didn't open, the other didn't make it at all. (more respect for him for that then his waste of DNA Shrub). And at one point he was a member of the SteelWorkers Union . That really surprised me.
